Job Description

We are looking for an experience Commercial Plumber to join our team! 


SUMMARY


The Plumber will install, repair and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial, industrial buildings.  The Plumber reads blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste and drainage systems.  The Plumber will then plan install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls.  These piping systems may be used to transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids.


The Plumber will work in cooperation with HVAC to ensure that all specifications, policies are met, and to ensure efficient completion of any project.  Providing adequate services will ensure that all water supply networks and waste and drainage systems are installed, repaired and maintained to meet all standards of building codes and safety.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE EDUCATION


Requires minimum of a High School Diploma, 7 years of experience and a Journeyman Certification.


WORK ENVIRONMENT


  The Plumber will need to concentrate in busy construction.  They will work in cooperation with other trades.  The Plumber can be called out at odd hours or have to work long hours in cases of emergency maintenance and repairs.


  Sensory demands include exposure to the smells associated with sewer and water, exposure to the sounds associated with power tools and construction sites, and exposure to dust and other debris associated with use of power tools and construction all of which can cause sensory strain including headaches.


 The Plumber may work in awkward environments and will have to carry all required equipment and supplies at all times.


 The Plumber may spend long hours outside in awkward positions which can cause physical discomfort and strain.  The Plumber will be lifting and adjusting heavy objects, and will come in contact with sharp, hot and/or very cold supplies and equipment.  The Plumber must maintain safety procedures at all times to avoid injury.  Plumbers may also come in contact with potential poisons and gases that could cause injury or illness.


  The unavoidable, externally imposed conditions under which the work must be performed and which create hardship for the incumbent including the frequency and duration of occurrence of physical demands, environmental conditions, demands on one's senses and metal demands.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
