Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
Weld, layout and fit-up carbon steel and/or alloy steel based on construction drawings.
Must pass Aluminum and Pipe weld test.
Workmanship must meet Company standards for quality including radiographic repair rate.
Productivity level must consistently equal the Company's established productivity requirements, as defined by work instructions.
Follow LPP safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Safety Manual.
Instruct and direct work of others, as required.
Successful completion of internal welding test.
Two year applicable welding experience.
Perform welding assignments with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials.
Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc)
Use conventional and precision measuring instruments.
Proficient in assigned welding techniques.
Knowledge of welding equipment.
Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools.
Read Construction drawings and/or welding instructions.
Must demonstrate the desire to perform in a professional manner as a member of a team, as well as a team leader, to give inputs on activities that will help complete project assignments in a timely and efficient manner while upholding the quality and safety standards.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
