Supervisor Recruiting

Lead and empower a team of recruiters to attract and place top talent, fulfilling our evolving staffing needs.
Works with Recruiting Manager to develop strategic recruitment initiatives, guide candidates and hiring managers through the interview process, and ensure successful outcomes for both the company and future team members.
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from developing ideal candidate profiles to negotiating competitive offers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIncludes the following:
Partners with hiring managers to understand their business needs and hiring criteria, developing a comprehensive recruiting strategy based on their needs.
Establishes and maintains consistent administrative processes associated with full cycle recruiting.
Sources candidates through a variety of methods including networking, social media, advertising, referrals, strategic partnerships, educational institutions, etc.
Acts as liaison with employment agencies and other key partners.
Maintains regular communication with current and potential candidates, as well as hiring managers.
Coordinates approvals of offers through appropriate workflow channels.
Manages the offer presentation, negotiation, closing, and some administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting.
Utilizes human capital management system to maintain appropriate documentation regarding recruiting activity.
Researches recruiting and staffing trends, making continuous improvement recommendations as needed based on findings.
Meets personal recruiting targets while contributing to full team success.
Ensures consistency in administrative functions of the recruiting department.
Monitors key metrics and provides performance feedback/coaching.
Assists with reference and background checks and other administrative duties as demand requires.
Ensures that hiring criteria for open positions are met while upholding Indian preference for the open position being filled.
Partners with Cherokee Nation Entertainment for special projects and recruitment initiatives.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITYSupervise/manage a department and have input towards hiring/firing/performance decisions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in business administration, human resources, or other related field, and six (6) to eight (8) years of recruiting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experiences.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to develop solid relationships within and outside the organization.
Excellent organizational agility and direct knowledge of jobs responsible for recruiting.
Ability to utilize job knowledge in writing effective job postings with clear, concise, and effective language.
Proven negotiation skills, with the ability to negotiate salaries based upon market pay levels for candidates' work experience and skill sets.
Ability to understand and effectively communicate total employee value proposition.
Advanced knowledge of State, Federal, and Tribal laws governing recruiting practice.
Advanced knowledge of modern human capital management/applicant tracking systems.
Advanced collaboration skills, with the ability to recognize how personal performance contributes to overall team performance.
Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
Ability to establish priorities, organize a high volume of active openings, manage tight deadlines, and exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal and external contacts.
Excellent process orientation, with the ability to drive efficiencies and consistencies across the recruiting function.
Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
Must be able to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
WORK ENVIRONMENTWork is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
Occasional travel and overnight stay may be required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
