JOB OBJECTIVE:
The AssemblySpecialist performs tasks that are essential to production.
The AssemblySpecialist, working with a team, ensures coolers are QC ready, guides assemblythroughput, and assists completes the assembly of the cooler, ensuring that itis customer ready.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
o Hand assembly of cooler components o Uses hand and power tools to assembly componentsand the final completed cooler o Studies blueprints, work orders, or schematicsto plan and carry out tasks o Test and disassembles assemblies for shipment o Ensures coolers are QC ready o Review assembly requirements to determineaccuracy, method, materials, and equipment needed to complete each project o Assist team with complex assembly projects o Train new assembly personnel o Operates manlifts and cranes; o Other duties as assigned/directed by supervisor KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
o High school diploma or equivalent preferred o 1-2 years' experience in assembly in amanufacturing environment o Aptitude of mechanics o Self-motivated o Detail oriented o Ability to work in a team atmosphere o Ability to work in tight or enclosed areas o Ability to work at height 6 feet of the ground o Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch o Excellent hand-eye coordination o Work safely and look out for the safety of theteam o Keep a clean and hazard free workspace o Identify any defective items and handle themaccordingly o Use reason to solve problems o Ability to perform repetitive tasks, includingstanding for long periods o Ability to lift up to 50lbs o Follow JSA, work instructions, and useidentified PPE o Takes pride in work product and the finalproduct that is shipped o Performs other related duties as assigned.
